Terms of use

1. Description of the Service

The Service is a free online loan-request and matching service. You may submit a request for a loan between $500 and $5,000. We share the information you submit with lenders, lending partners and other financial service providers in our network that may be able to make you an offer. The site also provides general educational content and calculators.

There is no fee to use the Service, and you are not obligated to accept any offer you receive.

2. Eligibility to use the Service

To submit a request, you must be at least 18 years old (19 in Alabama and Nebraska), a legal resident of the United States, and legally able to enter into a binding contract. You must submit a request only for yourself, using your own information. Lenders may have additional requirements, such as a steady source of income and a checking account in your name.

3. We are not a lender

We are not a lender, broker, agent or financial adviser, and we do not make credit decisions or loans. We are not affiliated with any lender that uses a name similar to ours. Using the Service does not create a lending, agency, fiduciary or advisory relationship between you and us.

Any loan you accept is an agreement solely between you and the lender. The lender determines approval, loan amount, APR, fees, repayment terms and funding time, and the lender's own terms, disclosures and privacy policy govern that relationship. Questions or disputes about a loan must be directed to the lender. How we are compensated is described in our advertiser disclosure.

4. Accuracy of information you provide

You agree that all information you submit is true, accurate, current and complete. Providing false or misleading information, or information about another person without authorization, may be illegal and may result in the rejection of your request. You authorize us and the lenders and partners who receive your request to verify your information, including through consumer reporting agencies.

5. No approval promised

Submitting a request does not mean you will receive an offer or be approved for a loan. Not all applicants qualify, not all lenders or products in the market are part of our network, and the Service is not available in every state. Rates, amounts and terms shown on the site are estimates for information only and are not offers of credit.

6. Communications

By submitting a request, you agree that we and the lenders and partners who receive it may contact you about your request by email, phone and text message at the contact details you provide, as described in the consent shown on the request form. You can opt out of marketing messages at any time, as explained in our privacy policy.

7. Prohibited uses

You agree not to:

• Submit a request on behalf of someone else or using stolen or fabricated information
• Use the Service for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose
• Copy, scrape, frame or republish site content without our written permission
• Use bots, scripts or other automated means to access the Service or submit requests
• Interfere with the security or operation of the site, or attempt to access data that is not yours
• Impersonate us or any lender, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or company

8. Site content

The text, graphics, calculators, layout and other content on the site are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may view and print content for your own personal, noncommercial use. Educational content is general information only and is not financial, legal or tax advice.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we are not responsible for the actions, offers, products or services of any lender or partner.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from a loan or other product you obtain from a lender or partner. Our total liability for any claim related to the Service will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars. Some states do not allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Service.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, and by applicable federal law. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Pennsylvania, and you consent to their jurisdiction, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms at any time by posting a revised version on this page. Changes take effect when posted. Your continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the revised Terms. If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
